Stuart Cameron

Stuart Cameron from Mabou, not to be confused with Stewart Cameron, the son of Mabou’s legendary singer John Allan Cameron, started playing the fiddle at the age of 10.

He first began playing at the Barn in his late teens. In successive years he added new instruments. While he primarily played fiddle at The Barn, he also played guitar and piano, both solo and as an accompanist. Stuart added accordion to provide further spice to his performances. Besides the Barn and the Normaway Inn, he has played frequently at the Glenora Distillery and The Red Shoe Pub. Stuart divides his time between Cape Breton and the Eastern Seaboard of the Atlantic Ocean where he is the Chief Cook on an oil tanker.
